Folktinget works to ensure access to culture and media in Swedish in Finland.
This means, among other things, that Folktinget:
- continuously monitors developments in the Swedish-language cultural and media field in Finland,
- offers an arena for discussion,
- coordinates the largest annual cultural event in Swedish in Finland, the Swedish Week.
