Integration

This is what Folktinget does in integration policy:

• Maintains two networks, one for education directors and one for integration coordinators together with the Association of Finnish Municipalities,
• Is one of the main organizers of the Finland-Swedish Integration Days,
• Ensures that the right to integration in Swedish is taken into account in the drafting of legislation.

Folktinget has an integration policy committee that:


• works to promote integration in Swedish in Finland,
• monitors the realization of integration in Swedish in Finland,
• prepares statements on current legislation concerning integration in Swedish that Folktinget submits to ministries and parliamentary committees.

We collaborate with authorities, organizations, municipalities, and the third sector to promote integration in Swedish.
